Fresh Tonkin Cane

WHOA!!!!! I had no idea it's been so long since I have posted.  Hopefully I haven't lost all my loyal followers due to my lack of action. Sorry I have been slacking in my lack of action. 

​Anyway, on to the good news... I just received an new shipment of A+ Tonkin cane from Peak Bamboo and am looking for a reason to split some cane.  Take a look at this cane!!! It is loaded with power fibers that make it the best in the world for a quality Bamboo rod.

Yep, that is the start to a quality Bamboo rod.  It goes from the raw cane to what you see in the slide show below.  And that folks is why it takes 6-80 hours to make a Bamboo rod.  Not much going on in the way of retiring off the profits ;-)
Sorry there aren't better pictures.  I was never really too concerned with pictures.  That is changing and lack of quality pictures is slowly changing.
