Easy on the Budget

Hot off the bench.  This rod is a great rod for under $300, including a rod sock, black & gold aluminum tube and shipping.  It is a Baston RX6, 5 wt., 4 piece 9' rod.  The RX6 is a lower modulus blank and is considered a moderate action rod.  Rods built on the RX6 blank can cast with the best of them. And since it is a lower modulus it is considered as fragile as the high modulus.  In other words, it is more forgiving to the occasional smack for a weighted fly.

Why am I showing you an RX6? What's the big deal?  No big deal, I just wanted to show that you can get a truly custom rod for a great price.  Without the tube and sock the rod comes to about $230.00 + shipping.  And you get your colors, seat and grip that you want.  Something that is not an option in the box stores.

So why not give a custom rod builder a call to see what they can do for you?
