Custom Rod Socks

Ever think about getting a custom rod sock to protect that investment?  Whether it is for your custom rod or just to replace that old beat up rod sock, you still need a rod sock to keep baby from getting scratched up.   I offer "Renaissance Rods" rod socks as a standard item on my Bamboo builds and as a option for the Graphite and Fiberglass builds.  You don't really think I sew them myself or go through a nameless company to get them do you?  Shoot no, I have a secert source that I am going to share with you.

I am fortunate to get my custom "Renaissance Rods" rod socks made by Martha.  She makes them per my specifications as in size, configuration, colors, flap or draw string.   With all the different materials and colors out there the possibilities are endless.  I don't like to have anything tied around my Bamboo builds so she came up with the draw string model.   That plus she worked out the program to embroider my logo on each sock.

She will even embroider your name on the sock.  Check out the picture below and you will not only see my logo embroidered on each sock, you will see another custom touch with a name and year.  The socks are not only custom, but the stitching and fabric is tough enough to handle all the abuse we put our equipment through.

Shoot Bob (flybob) an e-mail at:
flybob56@gmail.com .   One sock or multiple socks Bob and Martha will both be happy to work with you on getting your own custom rod sock(s).   As far as I am concerned, she sells the socks way too cheap, but we'll keep that our secret.  Martha doesn't need that information ;-).

Until next time my friends,

I am interested in getting a rod sock made, and possibly several. At the moment I need a custom-sized sock that will fit a spinning rod that has a size 40 stripping guide, so the sock would need to have one pocket that's at least 3" in width, and probably 3.5".

I make custom rods, and would be interested in finding out how much you would charge to make several socks with my company name embroidered on them.
